I haven’t used roundup for years. Wood chips and full-strength vinegar have all but done away with weeds. I took my dormant oil back for my money. When I read the label (mineral oil), I decided I can make my own oil/soap spray to fight aphids, fire blight, scale, and for dormant spray. Just like providing inexpensive nutrients to the garden, as the above article. I’ve used all the above list, but for epson salt. What’s it good for?

Hi Elizabeth, epson salt adds magnesium to build strong plants. I always use it when transplanting my peppers and tomatoes. You can also use it in a drench during the growing season.
