Our Back To Eden Garden

Back to Eden gardening is the message for our day.  For all those that love gardening and stewarding the earth, this is a “must do” action item.

We first learned of the Back to Eden film in June 2013.  Shortly after learning of the film, we purchased our own copy and watched it almost every night for two weeks.  Needless to say we were hooked!  Larry began singing the theme song all around the house, and we readily connected with Paul’s message.

Larry had been trying various “no-work” gardening methods for several years using the Ruth Stout and other methods. He tried straw, shredding leaves, hay and grass clippings.  These worked with varied success, but still too many weeds to deal with and a lot of work.  Some much for “no-work” gardening.

After watching the film, Larry was on a quest to get woodchips.  We began praying and searching out tree trimming companies.  By the time fall came around, we had several load of chips dumped in the backyard and we began covering the garden.

Our first planting in the chips was a fall sowing of garlic.  The garlic is growing strong this spring, and we’ve included additional spring plantings of broccoli, lettuce, carrots, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers.  Besides the occasional dandelions and other deep rooted weeds that Larry has to dig out, Back to Eden gardening is a great success!

Larry loved it so much that he wanted to become a Back to Eden and earth stewardship messenger.  So he started this t-shirt business.  But that’s another story.

I love the vibrant print. excellent job but I would like to see the color of the rainbow in color options for your shirts and specially a collared option or polo. I’ll take a purple one.

Thanks for the feedback, Craig! And we’re glad you like the print. We started with these basic T’s and colors to see what folks would like. We are considering adding additional styles and colors in the future as we get more feedback. Thanks for visiting!
