Whether you garden with containers on a patio or porch, in your backyard or on a larger scale, every gardener can benefit from permaculture principles.

In permaculture, the first place to start is to develop a design—your plan.  Once you have your plan, the most important next step is Do Something.  And the best way to do something is to start small.

Many gardeners get stuck in the planning stage.  They encounter the biggest obstacle of analysis paralysis.  But you can overcome this obstacle.  As Angelo Eliades says…

“The biggest obstacles are taking the first step, believing in yourself, believing you can do it, trusting it will work!”
